ABOUT CHALLENGE CONSULTANCY
Founded in 1985 by Femi Otitoju, Challenge has grown from a one-person organisation into an association of trainers and consultants from a variety of backgrounds, offering a wide range of skills and expertise, all working with common aims and objectives.
Everyone who works for Challenge Consultancy has a strong commitment to equality and diversity. We translate that commitment into helping organisations embed equality and diversity into policies, systems, practices, service delivery and, most importantly, into the culture of their organisations.
Our services provide support for everyone, from front line staff to senior management, service users to board members. Our initiatives are designed to increase participants' knowledge, awareness and confidence in addressing issues related to equality and diversity. Our training helps people understand the ethos underpinning policies and procedures and enables them to integrate equality into their everyday work practice, while empowering members of traditionally disadvantaged groups.
Challenge also offers a consultancy service to familiarise organisations and individuals with the legislation that covers equality of opportunity and help them develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures that fulfill their statutory obligations in recruitment and service delivery. When difficulties arise in implementation or between individuals facilitation, coaching and mediation services are available.
