HOW WE WORK
Challenge has a reputation for providing high quality services for a wide range of public, private and charity sector organisations. We create non-threatening, challenging and supportive training environments within which participants are encouraged to contribute.
Equality and diversity is at the core of everything we do, from management to customer care and organisational governance. We thrive on working with people to enthuse and excite them about the issues to change the way they feel about the subject:
"Excellent presentation of what could have been a very ‘dry’ content. The topics covered were thought-provoking and challenged my perceptions." Welcoming Diversity
We also change the culture of whole organisations with the impact of our work:
"At the Scottish Parliament, Challenge provided training to all 600 staff - initially on a broad range of equality and diversity issues and then on the specific topic of bullying and harassment. The training provided by Challenge was incredibly effective in changing the culture across the Parliament. In particular, the Parliament noticed a very quick and positive transformation in the level of enthusiasm amongst staff for equality issues and the seriousness with which these issues were treated. The Parliament also saw a significant reduction in the number of staff saying, in confidential staff surveys, that they had experienced bullying or harassment. Challenge's particular strength is always in making equality issues real, engaging and, most importantly, addictive for staff - the training always left people wanting to engage more."

We recognise that in order to be able to deal effectively with issues of inequality, our consultants need direct experience and consequently they bring a thorough understanding into their work.
Many of our clients have worked with us for many years and as their understanding of our impact develops, they commission us to deliver additional training, support and services.
