What is the course about?
This training follows best practice in recruitment (or uses the company's own policy and procedure where appropriate).  The course enables participants to discuss the recruitment and selection process in detail, allows time for practice interviews and improves participants' skills with regard to  fair interviewing (including the legislation). 

Course content includes:
  • Stages of the recruitment process
  • Devising a job description and person specification
  • Roles and responsibilities of panel members
  • Shortlisting
  • Devising interview questions and scoring
  • Interview practice

Who is it for?
Suitable for anyone responsible for conducting recruitment and selection activities  or who is looking to develop skills required to carry out the interview process effectively.

Duration
Available as a one or two day course The two day course is recommended for those new to management and allows time for all participants to practice interviewing techniques.
